Dark shadows cover my mind
An intrusion of the head
Haunting my every whim.
Yet there is a glimmer
A glimmer of light
A glimmer of hope.
Now the dark can not conquer
For it now has a powerful enemy
An enemy that will rise and fill this heart with a shining light
A light that will conduct my every movement
And I will embrace this light with joy
For it has been Jesus' love for me that has saved me.
